Photo Session Details: Paul and Natasha contacted me to photograph their wedding vow renewal ceremony in Stanley, Virginia. They were first married 5 years ago, but according to them, their first wedding was less than memorable in which everything that could go wrong did (their photographer even ran out of film…which I cannot comprehend). For their vow renewal ceremony, they decided to have a small, intimate ceremony attended by only them, the officiant and myself for photography purposes. I think Natasha’s words best help describe the theme of their ceremony:
The theme is celtic, dragons, medieval, a little french (fleur de lys) mixed with modern day formal wear . We are Laird and Lady of Lochaber Scotland. We have purchased land there and have a title. In fact, we’re going to make it official for our wedding day (signing of the papers) even though we bought the land last year. My husband is Scottish and we are honoring his heritage. He will be wearing a fly plaid tartan and I will be pinned with his clan’s tartan sash and take my oath.
Testimonial: Aaron is a very patient and thorough photographer. He listens to what you are looking for and adds a creative touch to the photos. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer! He showed up an hour early to take pre-pictures for us. He took our ideas and made them come to life. These pictures of our most cherished moments, for our renewal, have been captured to our highest expectations. Using Aaron as our photographer was the best decision we could have made for this special moment. Thank you from Laird and Lady of Lochaber, Scotland! – Paul and Natasha Savery
