Location and Date: The Home of Ben and Laura | Charles Town, WV

The Details: Julie, one of my wedding clients, gave the gift of a portrait photography session to her maid of honor Laura, who also happens to be married to Ben, Julie’s brother-in law. I met Laura during Julie’s September wedding and she told me then that she was very excited for her portrait session. We were able to set up a date in October for me to visit their lovely farm home for some wonderful portrait photo-taking.

Location and Date: Mauertown, VA | August 2011

The Details: The Wilt family invited me to their home in Mauertown, VA for a photo session with their newborn baby. She was a natural model, smiling and looking right at me the whole time.

Location and Date: Ashburn, VA

The Details: I spent one evening in June taking some newborn portrait photographs of the adorable baby Gus in Ashburn, VA with his family. Gus was a natural and really seemed fascinated by the camera!

Location and Date: The Virginia Arboretum / Bland Farm – Boyce, VA – April 2011

The Details: 25 years of marriage is quite an accomplishment, so I was thrilled that Greg and Doris wanted to celebrate their milestone anniversary with a photo session. The conditions could not have been more perfect…it was a warm spring evening with golden sunlight following us through the Virginia Arboretum as we had a great time taking some great photos.

The Details: “Greg and I decided to hire Aaron to take our 25th year wedding annivesary pictures. The Details: I spent an hour with Daniel taking some great shots for his senior portraits at Jim Barnett Park in Winchester, VA. He arrived with several wardrobe choices, which was awesome allowing us to take some photographs showing his interest in track/field and business.

Location and Date: Ashburn, VA – February 2011

The Details: Marshall is the adorable 3-week-old newborn son of my cousin, Edward and his wife, Sharlotte. I took some time over a weekend in February to travel to their home in Ashburn and take some photos of the little guy for their baby announcement cards.

Location and Date: Bloomery, WV – December 2010

The Details: Erica found me through Facebook and wanted some portrait photographs of her family taken. Usually I take portrait photographs in a public park or natural area, so when Erica said we could use their property, I was intrigued. What I did not know is that the Keiter’s live in a beautiful wooded area atop a mountain that was perfect for a portrait photograph shoot.

The Details: I met DJ and Alicia on Twitter, which is awesome because I probably never would of met them otherwise. I had been trading tweets back and forth about sports and the TV show 24 with DJ for a year or so, and he even referred some photography work to me, so I was thrilled when he and his wife wanted me to take their photos. We hung out in downtown Winchester for an hour during one afternoon. It was pretty cold, but when your having fun you don’t mind the chilly temps!
