Location and Date: Ceremony – Washington National Cathedral | Reception – The Newseum
The Details: Wow…just wow. This wedding had everything…a ceremony at the breath-taking National Cathedral, a reception with a view of the Capitol building, one of the greatest cover bands I have ever heard (The Dickens), catering by Wolfgang Puck, entertaining and friendly guests and dancing, dancing and more dancing….I could go on and on. I will let the photos tell the story. Thank you to Matt and Lindsay for making me part of their truly magical day!

Location and Date: Old Town Winchester, VA
The Details: The forecast called for not only rain on the day of Eli and Jen’s engagement session, but a steady, heavy rain. I told them that it was their call if they wanted to do the session or reschedule. They didn’t blink an eye…and drove all the way from Pennsylvania to have fun taking photos in the rain. And have fun we did!
Testimonial: “Thank you very much! You did amazing and we love all of the pics!” – Jennifer Beckner

Location and Date: Ceremony – The Gardens at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley, Winchester, VA | Reception – Shenandoah Valley Golf Club, Front Royal, VA
The Details: Bryan and Erin (checkout her bridal session) had their wedding at one of my personal favorite venues, the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley. You really cannot go wrong with this venue from the viewpoint of a photographer. There are so many stunning places to take photographs and when I look back on it, the ceremony comes across as fairy-tale-like. I am honored to have been given an opportunity to photograph various weddings here, and I enjoy it more and more each time.

Location and Date: Ceremony – Saint Stephen Church, Bradshaw, MD | Reception – The Residences at Bulle Rock, Havre de Grace, MD
The Details: This was a wedding I had been looking forward to for years. My brother and best friend Josh, and his long-time girlfriend Katy (see their proposal on the beach here), got married this month of May. I served as my brother’s best man and wedding photographer. I would of had it no other way. While being one of the most challenging weddings I have ever photographed since I was part of the wedding party (I needed to use tripods, remote control triggers and had my wife serving using a third camera), it was the most fulfilling. Congrats to my brother, Josh and my new sister-in-law Katy. I love you both!

Location and Date: The Virginia Arboretum / Bland Farm – Boyce, VA – April 2011
The Details: 25 years of marriage is quite an accomplishment, so I was thrilled that Greg and Doris wanted to celebrate their milestone anniversary with a photo session. The conditions could not have been more perfect…it was a warm spring evening with golden sunlight following us through the Virginia Arboretum as we had a great time taking some great photos.
The Details: “Greg and I decided to hire Aaron to take our 25th year wedding annivesary pictures. Greg has really never been one to take pictures, so Aaron really made him feel extremely comfortable and relaxed during our session. I would highly recommend Aaron’s services and creativity. He is very much a professional, and we are extremely proud of our 25 year wedding annivesary pictures! Thanks a bunch Aaron, you are awesome!” – Greg and Doris Brennen

Location and Date: Church of the Nazarene, Winchester, VA – April 2011
The Details: Randy and Tammy’s wedding (view their engagement photos) was held on one of the rainiest days in April, but that didn’t dampen the spirits of this awesome couple. Their wedding was unique in that their entire church was invited (some 300 people attended), and their ceremony featured a variety of musical and vocal performances (a small reception was held at the back of the church afterwards). The one thing I will always remember about this wedding, is upon kissing his bride, Randy leaped off the stage and had Tammy jump into his arms to walk her down the aisle. I was glad I was able to capture that moment for them to relive when looking back through the photographs
The Details: “You will not find anyone more professional, talented, reliable, and reasonable than Aaron. He did a great job of responding to us quickly, answering all of our questions, having great ideas for different shots with the engagement session, being on time for all sessions, and was wonderful at the wedding. During the ceremony, we hardly even knew that Aaron was there. He was so great at taking wonderful shots quietly without any distracting flashes, etc. He is truely GREAT at what he does.” – Randy and Tammy Yoder

Location and Date: Downtown Warrenton, VA
The Details: Colby and Jaclyn had a fantastic idea for an engagement session…do one with a 1940′s theme! Not only did they show up in costume, but they brought many props to use as well, including sparklers. We even managed to find an antique truck along the street to use. At the end of the shoot, I told them they set the bar pretty high for other couples to be creative. What a great job by this great couple!
Testimonial: “AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH! Thank you, Aaron for our Engagement Pictures!!!! I Love them!!!!” – Jaclyn
